Setting up the car for each of you drivers is an activity that is primarily done through the Practice session at each race weekend. The idea is that the more time your drivers spend on track the more knowledge your mechanic gains and he is able to help guide you to the perfect setup for your car. In order to change your car setup you have a range of options, from wing angles to suspension stiffness, with each of these settings impacting the Downforce, Handling and Speed Balance of the car. Every time you do a stint the mechanic will feedback on how good the car setup is. The perfect car setup lies somewhere within the Mechanics Recommendation bracket. As you complete more laps in practice this bracket will decrease in size, guiding you towards the best setup.
