iOS - Troubleshooting

If you are suffering from crashes or the game failing to run please try fully restarting the device as a first step.

To turn the device off: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.

To turn it on again: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. It will then boot up in a few seconds.

If you are still suffering issues, please do feel free to start a new thread in our bugs forum where we will do our best to assist you.

If the game fails to run immediately after purchasing and installing it, it is possible that it may not have downloaded or installed correctly. In this situation, it is best to delete the app from your device, reboot the device fully and then re-install the app. Don't worry, iTunes will know that you have already purchased the app and will let you download it again. Do not do this if you have run the game and have existing saves as they will be removed.

To delete the app: Hold your finger on the FMM 2017 icon until all the icons on your home screen begin to shake. Then click the "x" in the upper left hand corner of the FMH 2017 icon and confirm.

Please report it in the Apple Bugs Forum providing as much information as possible including the device you are using, the version of the game you are running (visible on Credits page) and the iOS version you are using.

Screenshots are always very helpful.

If you find a bug in the match, please if possible use the ‘Save Match’ button at the left hand side of the Action Bar. You will then be able to review the match from the ‘View Match’ button on the start screen.

Please do report any such bugs on our forums. It would be especially useful if you could send us the match that contains the bug, these can be accessed via iTunes on iOS and using a file manager app on Android devices.

There's a number of reasons why tweets from within the game may fail to post but here are some of the most common:

  • Intermittent internet connection causing the connection to fail.
  • Incorrect date/time on device causing Twitter to reject the connection.
  • Attempting to post the same tweet multiple times within a certain time limit (i.e. multiple manager of the month awards) – Twitter refuses duplicate tweets.

If none of the above are valid, please feel free to let us know via the forums and we'll look into things.

If you are having problems loading your save game, please in the first instance try a full reboot of your device.

If the save still will not load it's possible that it may have been corrupted or interrupted while saving. If this is the case, please open a new thread in the bugs forum with the following info:

  • Device you are using
  • iOS version you are running
  • Whether any of the backup autosaves will load
  • Amount of storage space you have available
  • Whether you have noticed any unusual/strange occurrences in game
  • Whether you have experienced crashes, your device running out of battery while playing, or anything else that may have interrupted the saving of the game

To assist in resolving your issue, we may ask you to send us your save(s).

Since it’s not possible to be relegated from the Australian A-League, or the Dutch Jupiler League, these leagues aren’t available to manage in when choosing the Saviour Cometh Challenge.
