How to Do

You can create a desktop shortcut which allows you to launch the game without having to go through the STEAM interface.

To create a desktop short-cut right click on the game from the STEAM Library and select Properties:

From General select Create Desktop Shortcut

With Steam open, click the Steam menu, and choose Settings

Click on the Interface tab, and uncheck the box that says:

"Run Steam when my computer starts."

Please follow the instructions below to configure Offline Mode on your PC:

1. Start Steam whilst connected to the Internet - make sure that the “Remember my password” box on the login window is checked:

Then for a full uninstall you will have to manually remove Steam:

This process will remove Steam and any installed game content from your machine. If reinstalling Steam and Steam games in the near future, please move the Steamapps folder (C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps) outside of the Steam directory to prevent your games from being deleted. Additionally, backups of all game content can be created for reinstallation - obviously do not backup the Sports Interactive/Football Manager folder as you want these to be fully removed.

- Exit Steam.
- Navigate to your Steam directory. (Typically C:\Program Files\Steam or C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam)
- Delete all of the contents of your Steam directory.

When complete, make sure the Steam and FM15 registry entries have been removed. While doing the following, please be aware that the Windows registry is a very sensitive part of Windows. Mistakes can render your system unstable so be VERY careful when making any changes.

* For Steam:

- In the left-hand column of your registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam.
- Right-click on Valve select Delete.

- For 32-bit operating systems:

- In the left-hand column of your registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Valve\.
-Right-click on Valve and select Delete.

- For 64-bit operating systems:

- In the left-hand column of your registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Valve\.
- Right-click on Valve and select Delete.

When completed please close the Registry Editor, restart your computer and try the installation again.

*If for whatever reason you wish to remove all your Football Manager save data, do the following:

Go into Documents/My Documents which can be found as below:

Start Menu > Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2015

We’d very much suggest backing up the ‘Games’ folder as this will contain all your save game data.

If you come across a bug within the game we'd very much appreciate you raising the issue for us via our community Bugs Forum which can be found here - http://community.sigames.com/forumdisplay.php/417

Within this forum there are a number of subsections to post your particular issue. If you're not sure which area it's suited to, please just use the All Other Issues forum.

- Go to your Start Menu (Windows).
- For XP: Click on Run in the Start Menu; For Vista/Win7/Win8: On the bottom left there should be start search area. Type in Run then press Enter.
- Type in dxdiag then press Enter.
- The Dxdiag window should open. If it asks you any sorts of license questions just say yes.
- On the bottom portion of the dxdiag window there should be a button that says Save All
- Save the file as a txt document.

Normally we will ask you to just open up the file and copy and paste the information from here directly onto the forum. There is no sensitive information contained within here, just information that can help us deduce whether there's a potential issue with your system which could be affecting your game.

From time to time, we will ask you to provide us with more information on a particular bug which we will ask you to upload to our public FTP site. We very much recommend using Filezilla to do this:

Download the Filezilla FTP Client from here (Filezilla is Free Opensource)

Filezilla FTP Instructions:

When you install it and open it up, at the top you'll see the following:

Host:
Username:
Password:

Enter the following:

Host: ftp.sigames.com
Username: ftp-public
Password: public

It should then open up, your computer on the left-hand side, our FTP on the right. On the right go to the game-save folder. On the left find your save game, then simply when you've found it drag it across to the appropriate folder. Then it'll start to upload. Be warned, depending on your upload speed this may take a while. Remember you cannot 'replace' a file on the FTP, so you'll have to rename the save as something different.

Uploading Screenshots

Screenshots should be added to the ftp server in the fm/screenshots folder. Save them as jpegs preferbly.

Save Games

Save Games should be added to the ftp server in the fm/game-save folder

Especially with transfer and contract bugs we need a save before the deal goes through. Preferably you should run incremental save and at worst rolling auto-save.

When you upload the save use the compress savegames or use winzip to make them smaller. If they are still too big then you can (if matches aren't important to the bug) delete the stored pkms from the temp folder and then save the game.

PKM

Match engine PKMs should be added to the ftp server in the fm/game-pkm folder

Match engine bugs we need pkm files, click Save at the end of a match and can be found in My Documents\Sports interactive\Football Manager 2013\matches. Pkms don't need zipping.

File naming conventions

Save/Zip/PKM name format: your-forum-name_bug-description

In your post include the name for the savegame when you've uploaded it.

If requested, please install Belarc (as shown here - http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html)

Once this is done it should automatically compile a report. Once this is finished, within your browser go to File -> 'Save As' and send the HTML file in an email to neil.brock[at]sigames.com

Include your forum username and a brief description of what your issue is in the email.
